Overview
Join GHD's mission to protect and sustain the environment as a Hydrogeologist in Auckland, New Zealand, with optional consideration for Hamilton candidates. Key Responsibilities
- Provide analytical and conceptual hydrogeological services with a focus on modeling.
- Participate in environmental fieldwork such as aquifer characterization and monitoring activities.
- Produce detailed technical reports, management plans, and strategic documents.
- Collaborate with a nationwide team of scientists and engineers to deliver practical and sustainable environmental solutions.
Candidate Profile
- Holds a relevant tertiary qualification in Hydrogeology, Engineering, or Geosciences, ideally a Master’s degree.
- Brings 3 to 7 years of experience in hydrogeology, environmental consulting, or a related domain.
- Motivated to advance technical expertise in hydrogeology and environmental science.
- Experienced with analytical modeling software and tools specific to hydrogeology.
- Familiar with conducting field investigations, groundwater data analysis, and groundwater modeling.
- Strong communication abilities, able to work cross-functionally and engage with external stakeholders.
Work Environment
