Role Overview
We are hiring an Industrial Engineer to join our Operations team to enhance the efficiency, safety, and scalability of our nationwide facilities. This impactful position involves working directly to improve our warehouses, implement smarter systems, and boost customer satisfaction. The role requires collaboration with Operations leadership, evaluating automation and new technology, and contributing to the design and launch of new facilities as we continue our expansion.
Core Responsibilities
- Evaluate and optimize current operations by conducting time-motion studies, value stream mapping, and process flow analysis to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost reduction.
- Promote workplace safety and ergonomic standards by researching leading practices and providing management with practical improvement recommendations.
- Develop workforce planning models based on labor needs, skills, and capacity to optimize staffing and productivity.
- Analyze operational data including production rates, cycle times, and resource use to derive actionable insights through statistical methods for business leaders.
- Lead cost-benefit and financial analyses to devise strategies that cut expenses while maintaining or enhancing quality standards.
- Manage cross-departmental projects, coordinating resources, timelines, and deliverables to implement process enhancements and support new location rollouts.
- Design facility layouts that maximize efficiency of equipment, material flow, and workspace in warehouse and order fulfillment operations.
- Collaborate with launch teams to optimize operational designs for new facilities from the outset.
- Assist in capital planning by proposing capital improvement projects with calculated returns on investment.
- Offer technical assistance to Maintenance, Operations, and IT during system downtimes or technology deployments.
- Partner with senior leadership to plan for operational impacts of company growth and expansion.
- Evaluate and support employee-generated process improvement ideas from all warehouse sites, enabling pilot programs or deployment of effective initiatives.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a closely related discipline is strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with automation and industrial equipment such as conveyors, robotics, forklifts, and racking systems.
- Background in operations and distribution planning.
- Proficient in CAD design and Microsoft Office suite; advanced capabilities in Excel, plus knowledge of MS Access and/or Visio, are preferred.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively, up to 50% as required.
- Spanish language skills are an added advantage.
- Strong analytical thinking, attentive listening, and sound judgment capabilities.
- Excellent organizational proficiency allowing the management of multiple ongoing projects.
- A solid grasp of warehousing, logistics, and operational principles.
- Comfort with physically engaging, active roles.

Compensation
The annual salary range for this role is $60,000 to $70,000, reflecting competitive remuneration and growth potential within the organization.
