Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time Architectural Technologist to join our Edmonton studio team. Key Responsibilities

• Support project teams from conceptual design through to construction documentation phases.
• Create architectural drawings, technical details, and documentation using Revit and AutoCAD software.
• Coordinate architectural work with consultants in structural, mechanical, electrical, and civil disciplines.
• Integrate design changes and develop effective technical solutions.
• Participate in meetings with consultants, clients, and contractors as part of the project team.
• Assist in contract administration duties including site reviews, shop drawing evaluations, and responding to requests for information (RFIs).
• Collaborate throughout all stages of project delivery to ensure smooth processes.
• Maintain high standards for technical accuracy and quality in all deliverables.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma in Architectural Technology or equivalent qualification in Architecture or related fields.
• Preferably 1 to 5 years of professional architectural experience; recent graduates possessing strong technical skills are welcome.
• Proficient in Revit (BIM) and working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Skilled with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is advantageous.
• Experience with 3D visualization software such as SketchUp, Enscape, or Lumion is a plus.
• LEED accreditation or experience is considered beneficial.
• Strong organizational, technical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet project deadlines.
• Attentive to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Displays a positive attitude, initiative, creativity, and enthusiasm for architecture and continuous learning.
