Junior Python Automation Developer

Overview

Indium Software is seeking a logical and detail-oriented Junior Python Automation Developer to join their team in Hyderabad. This role focuses on creating robust automation solutions using contemporary, production-standard technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain efficient, reusable scripts in Python for automation purposes.
• Integrate and manage external APIs with CRUD operations and JSON data handling.
• Debug and analyze existing codebases to identify bottlenecks and fix issues.
• Work with SQL databases to retrieve, filter, and manipulate data sets as needed.
• Ensure code quality and consistency using Git workflows, code reviews, and version control best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong core Python skills including decorators, list and dictionary comprehensions, and concurrency techniques such as asyncio, multithreading, and multiprocessing.
• Experience in using external APIs and handling JSON payloads effectively.
• Proficiency with Git version control including repositories, commits, branching, and pull requests.
• Ability to read, analyze, and debug existing code effectively.
• Comfortable writing and executing SQL queries against relational databases.
• Excellent logical reasoning and the capability to clearly articulate coding logic and problem-solving approaches.
