Kitchen Helper

Overview

This role requires working entirely onsite at Beaverlodge Motor Inn, Beaverlodge, Alberta, Canada. English language proficiency and a minimum education level of secondary (high) school graduation are needed. No prior experience is required as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate dishwashers to clean dishes, glassware, and flatware.
• Store cleaned dishes appropriately.
• Manually sanitize and wash dishes and related items.
• Thoroughly scour pots and pans.
• Prepare, heat, and complete simple food items.
• Utilize manual and electrical tools for cleaning, peeling, slicing, and trimming foodstuffs.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas including work surfaces, cupboards, storage spaces, appliances, and equipment.
• Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigeration and storage areas.
• Manage kitchen waste removal.
• Sharpen kitchen knives as needed.
• Perform floor maintenance through sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing.
• Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruits.
