Role Overview
The Lead Business Development Analyst holds accountability for nurturing and expanding relationships with both potential and current clients. The role involves executing tactical plans to penetrate new sectors, identifying both immediate and long-term business prospects, and managing medium-margin ventures. Additionally, this role entails gathering, analyzing, and communicating market demands through awareness initiatives and consultative sale approaches while maintaining and updating client pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in documenting and launching business relationships with experts in business development from the public and private sectors within Saudi Arabia.
- Identify and scrutinize information related to large-scale, high-value projects, reporting key insights about smart cities and ICT/Digitization market opportunities to management.
- Initiate and manage consultative sales processes for clients with medium to low returns, focusing on specialized domains within selected industries while sustaining existing partnerships.
- Gather necessary resources to support sales teams during bid participation, aligned with client expectations and goals.
- Produce preliminary market studies and leads, particularly related to smart cities initiatives.
- Support cross-functional teams in developing business cases and aid in finalizing deals.
- Conduct market research to provide insights on industry trends, thus helping solutions teams innovate new ICT/Digitization concepts and value propositions relevant to vertical markets.
- Contribute to the "Business Development & Innovation" team in due diligence processes by supplying essential inputs to complete business cases.
- Offer expertise and guidance on telecommunication domain knowledge and ICT innovation to STC.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should have 4 to 6 years of experience in business development, sales, or customer service within the technology or telecommunications sector. The candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related fields; a Master's degree in Business Administration and professional certifications are additional advantages.
