Maintenance Engineer

About the Role

As a Maintenance Engineer at Hilton, your role goes beyond routine upkeep. You will manage the day-to-day operations involving maintenance and repair of the hotel’s physical infrastructure and systems, ensuring a safe, compliant, and welcoming environment that contributes notably to the exceptional hospitality experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the maintenance team through training, scheduling, and supervision to uphold high standards of workmanship and team performance.
• Maintain facility safety and regulatory compliance by overseeing the upkeep of all structural, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and life safety systems in accordance with local and national laws.
• Coordinate daily maintenance activities, assigning tasks and ensuring thorough recording in the property management system.
• Supervise external contractors, verifying that their work meets quality and compliance expectations.
• Address maintenance requests, guest concerns, and emergencies promptly and effectively to maintain smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
• Execute planned preventive maintenance and reactive repairs to keep hotel fixtures and fittings in optimal condition.
