Manufacturing Junior Engineer

Job Overview

The Manufacturing Junior Engineer will assist in developing project plans including detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimations. This role supports various business initiatives, especially related to Lean methodology, offering valuable analysis and project presentations to leadership and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in creating comprehensive plans with detailed drawings, project specifications, and cost evaluations.
• Contribute to new business initiatives and assess their effect on Lean processes.
• Present analysis outcomes and project solutions to technical leaders, senior management, and clients as needed.
• Participate in formulating a strong continuous improvement strategy alongside management and stakeholders.
• Drive organizational cultural change to foster business improvements.
• Learn to manage and support business improvement initiatives aligned with best practices.
• Assist in conducting business process and statistical analyses to underpin broader change efforts.
• Observe and support continuous improvement activities, including Lean event planning and execution.
• Work collaboratively on root cause analysis and problem resolution.
• Assist in performing risk assessments within departmental processes and tasks.
• Support compliance with health, safety, and environmental guidelines to protect staff and visitors.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Previous experience in Oil and Gas industry preferred.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
• Proficient with MS Office and ERP software.
• Strong skills in reporting and documentation.
