Role Overview
As a Midweight Designer at Whippet, you will engage with some of the UK's leading food retail brands, enjoying broad creative latitude across projects encompassing branding, campaigns, print, digital, and in-store point of sale solutions.
Daily Responsibilities
- Develop engaging graphic content aligned with client briefs.
- Collaborate closely with Senior Designers and Design Directors to craft assets for brand identities, seasonal campaigns, and multimedia applications.
- Assist project teams in generating compelling visuals that fulfill client objectives.
- Enhance your design skill set by partnering with diverse teams throughout the organization.
- Maintain strong collaboration with Client Services, Copywriting, and creative departments during project cycles.
- Contribute to projects involving respected retail clients such as M&S Food, M&S Bank, Holland & Barrett, Bensons for Beds, Frankie & Benny’s, Iceland, Tesco Mobile, among others.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a versatile designer with agency background, demonstrating proficiency in graphic and conceptual design, typographic and layout craftsmanship, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. A passion for branding with meticulous attention to detail is essential.
