Working Hours and Pay

Your workweek starts at 7:30 AM, Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours per week with flexibility to work additional hours as needed, sometimes extending to 48-52 hours weekly due to urgent medical delivery demands. The hourly wage is £13.04.

Core Responsibilities

• Scan and check all consignments meticulously.
• Conduct daily inspections of vehicles and refrigeration equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
• Deliver consignments punctually, maintaining the required product temperature standards.
• Accurately record delivery details electronically and complete driver manifests.
• Maintain ongoing communication to provide updates on delivery status.
• Exhibit safe and professional driving habits consistently.
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance during work hours.

Skills and Experience Requirements

• Possess a valid category B driving license, ideally with fewer than 3 penalty points.
• Have at least 2 years of driving experience.
• Previous experience in delivery driving is a plus.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service capabilities.
• Ability to cultivate positive relationships with customers while respecting confidentiality.
• Strong organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.

Additional Information

• This is a permanent position.
• Employment includes 28 days holiday (including bank holidays), increasing to 33 days in the sixth year.
