Overnight Associate

Position Overview

The Overnight Associate role at Walmart Canada is focused on delivering excellent customer service through various tasks involving the receipt and movement of merchandise to the sales floor. The role consists of unloading trailers, pulling pallets, and assisting with merchandise processing in a safe, organized environment as part of a team managing workload and operations strategically.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing the sales floor for store opening by setting up displays, merchandising, and posting signage.
• Conducting live unloading of various merchandise types during overnight hours.
• Labeling and organizing merchandise in backroom bins and stocking areas, which differentiates this position from day/evening fulfillment roles.
• Transporting pallets to and from the sales floor for overnight merchandising.
• Assisting with stocking the sales floor and providing customer support when necessary.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and hazard-free workplace by following company policies, completing safety checks, and ensuring fixtures and displays are secure.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this role is $16.05 CAD.
