Payment Operations Specialist

Job Overview

This role involves managing transaction processing for all transactional banking services, ensuring accuracy and promptness at every step. The candidate will verify customer instructions thoroughly to avoid any errors and provide support in treasury settlements along with other operational duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Process banking transactions accurately and in a timely manner for various transaction products.
• Validate completeness and correctness of customer instructions to guarantee error-free processing.
• Assist with treasury settlement activities and other related operational support tasks.
• Investigate discrepancies and resolve reconciliation issues efficiently.
• Engage actively in payment-related initiatives, system upgrades, and industry-wide testing efforts by coordinating with stakeholders, managing requests, and drafting and executing test scenarios.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience in payment operations is an advantage, particularly familiarity with SWIFT payment messaging and applicable systems.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, dynamic workplace while handling multiple responsibilities.
• Excellent collaboration skills, reliability, and attention to detail are essential.
• A minimum of three years’ experience in the banking sector, ideally within Payment Operations, is preferred.
