Process Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Process Engineer based in Doha, Qatar, to join our esteemed organization. The role is focused on advancing innovative technologies and refining process designs with an emphasis on sustainability, industrial innovation, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance industrial processes and technologies.
• Create process engineering deliverables including Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), heat and material balances, and conduct process calculations.
• Perform process simulations using recognized industry software tools.
• Support engineering phases ranging from conceptual design to FEED and detailed engineering stages.
• Assess and apply new technology to elevate performance, dependability, and environmental sustainability.
• Contribute to HAZOP studies, safety audits, and risk assessment initiatives.
• Diagnose process challenges and propose engineering remedies.
• Work collaboratively with cross-disciplinary engineering teams during project implementation.
• Prepare comprehensive technical reports, specifications, and pertinent documentation.
• Adhere to international engineering codes and Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Process Engineering is required.
• Candidates must currently be residing in Qatar.
• Between 5 and 15 years of experience in process engineering or process design.
• Background in technology development, industrial process design, or engineering consultancy is advantageous.
• Proficiency with process simulation tools such as Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, or similar software.
• Strong competence in analytical thinking, technical problem solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
