Role Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operational follow-up of OEM and non-OEM orders, addressing any discrepancies promptly.
  • Proactively monitor order progress with suppliers and freight forwarders, update estimated time of arrivals in SAP, and communicate changes to the relevant teams.
  • Source, select, and evaluate local suppliers to issue purchase orders while negotiating optimal terms to realize cost savings.
  • Handle daily customs operations including warehouse bonds, bonded warehouse movements, and import/export clearance as per local regulations, and coordinate shipments to customers.
  • Oversee operational relationships with suppliers and logistics partners, swiftly managing issues like shortages or damages.
  • Maintain accurate records by entering and monitoring import costs, verifying supplier and logistics invoices before forwarding to finance, and ensuring comprehensive file archiving.
  • Strictly implement procurement and purchasing policies and procedures.

Candidate Profile

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Procurement, International Trade, or related disciplines.
  • Solid understanding of procurement processes including purchase requests, purchase orders, receiving, and delivery follow-up.
  • Familiarity with Incoterms and their operational impact.
  • Basic knowledge of logistics cost components such as local transportation, customs fees, and warehousing.
