Program Manager - Environmental Compliance

About the Role

We are seeking a Program Manager to support environmental compliance efforts at AWS facilities located in Ireland. This role involves ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, preparing detailed environmental compliance plans, and establishing metrics to evaluate environmental performance. The position requires building and maintaining strong relationships with both internal teams and external partners while contributing to major compliance initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain environmental compliance across AWS sites in Ireland.
• Develop and implement environmental compliance plans to meet regulatory requirements.
• Define, track, and analyze metrics to assess environmental performance.
• Offer guidance on compliance matters and foster collaboration with stakeholders.
• Participate in large-scale compliance projects from planning to execution.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, environmental science, or a closely related discipline.
• A minimum of 4 years experience in waste management, environmental compliance, and auditing.
• Comprehensive understanding of Irish environmental laws, regulations, and licensing procedures.
• Proficient English language skills including speaking, reading, and writing.
