The Nagen Project spearheads a proactive and coordinated fight against anti-Jewish and anti-Israel threats and narratives through a multifaceted approach that integrates counter-intelligence, legal strategies, government relations, and strategic communications. Operating with agility and determination, the organization tackles challenges that others avoid, aiming to preemptively neutralize emerging threats.

Role Summary

The City Recapture Project is focused on devising and implementing a robust strategy to hold antisemitic individuals, networks, and institutions accountable at the local level. This effort involves reclaiming local institutions such as schools, trade unions, government bodies, and non-profits that have been compromised by actors opposing Jewish interests. Initially piloted in one city to refine strategies, the project aims to expand across multiple urban areas nationwide.

Reporting directly to the special advisor to the Board, the Project Manager will oversee daily activities tied to various initiatives within the City Recapture Project. This includes managing relationships with Nagen Project grantees, identifying and engaging new partners, and innovating tactics to progress strategic objectives. The role is pivotal to scaling the project from its pilot stage to national implementation.

Candidate Profile

• Skilled at collaborating with diverse groups to support their efforts and conceive fresh approaches.
• Interest and experience working across multiple domains pertinent to combating antisemitism, such as K-12 and higher education, teachers' and other trade unions, non-profits, and governmental agencies at varied levels.
• Strong attention to detail paired with the capacity to manage numerous projects simultaneously.
• Basic understanding of legal frameworks, advocacy, philanthropy, campaign organization, and government activities related to antisemitism counteraction.
• Familiarity with current urban controversies surrounding antisemitism.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

Experience Requirements

At least 5 to 7 years of professional experience within government or political environments, involving engagement with diverse stakeholders and political processes relevant to the mission of the Nagen Project.
