Overview
This position involves driving direct sales and promotional efforts for Vaporesso/Dojo products within the UK FMCG retail market, concentrating on convenience shops and tobacco retailers. The ideal candidate will promote product adoption and boost revenue by establishing strong retail relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Regularly visit retail outlets, convenience stores, and tobacco shops to actively sell and ensure product availability and promotion.
- Develop and nurture enduring relationships with store owners and key decision makers to identify and capitalize on sales growth opportunities.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and consumer preferences within the FMCG and vaping retail sectors, providing insights to the headquarters to optimize marketing and sales tactics.
- Negotiate for enhanced shelf positioning and in-store prominence while executing promotional initiatives to increase brand recognition.
- Engage in in-store marketing activities, roadshows, and industry events to boost sales and brand presence.
Candidate Profile
- Education: High school diploma mandatory.
- Experience: Demonstrated success in direct sales within FMCG retail channels, particularly through face-to-face store engagements and effective negotiations. Background in e-cigarette, tobacco, or related FMCG categories is advantageous.
- Skills: Proficient in sales techniques and persuasion with experience in cold calling and direct retail pitching. Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and self-motivated with goal orientation and the ability to work autonomously.
- Additional Requirements: Possession of a valid driver's license and readiness to travel widely within designated areas. Good understanding of local FMCG markets and prominent stakeholders is required.
