Scrum Master

Role Overview

We are looking for a Scrum Master to lead and facilitate Agile development processes for software teams. This role involves orchestrating Scrum ceremonies, removing blockers, coaching teams and stakeholders on Agile practices, and promoting continuous improvement within the delivery cycle.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead all Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives with consistent focus and organization.
• Protect the team from external impediments and escalate issues that cannot be resolved internally.
• Measure and report on team velocity, sprint performance, and overall delivery health indicators.
• Educate and guide team members and stakeholders on Agile methodologies and Scrum best practices.
• Work collaboratively with Product Owners to ensure an organized and well-maintained product backlog.
• Assist in managing dependencies that span multiple teams to ensure smooth delivery.
• Foster a work environment that values accountability, transparency, and continuous enhancement.
• Participate in initiatives that improve software development lifecycle maturity and delivery governance.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years' practical experience as a Scrum Master within software delivery teams.
• Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban; familiarity with SAFe is an added advantage.
• Possession of Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification is mandatory; Advanced CSM (A-CSM) or PMI-ACP certification highly preferred.
• Demonstrable experience in handling communication with stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello, or similar platforms.
• Ability to work efficiently both onsite and within hybrid or offshore delivery constructs.
• Fluent English communication skills required; knowledge of Arabic considered a plus.
• Experience in authoring, refining, and prioritizing User Stories collaboratively with Product Owners.
• Sound understanding of software development processes and Agile methodologies supporting engineering teams.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
