Job description
Role Overview
Patel Vaghasiya & Associates is hiring a Senior Accountant in Ahmedabad, India. The role is focused on accounting work within a CA or tax consultancy environment, with strong exposure to taxation-related entries and compliance tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle Tally-based accounting work, especially entries connected to tax matters such as TDS and GST.
- Carry out GST reconciliation and support the preparation and filing of GST returns, along with compliance activities.
- Assess whether TDS is applicable in different situations and manage TDS return filing and related compliance requirements.
Experience Expectations
Candidates should have prior experience working in a CA firm or tax consultant firm, specifically in accounting and taxation functions.
Eligibility
Applicants with a Company Secretary background in Secretarial Audit, Corporate Law and Governance, or a B.Com degree in any specialization are eligible to apply.
Compensation
The offered pay is INR 144000 to 216000 per year.
