Senior Analyst, Development Strategy

We seek a Senior Analyst in Development Strategy to transform complex data into actionable business insights that will guide strategic decisions within our Development organization. This position will involve collaborating closely with Development leadership and cross-functional partners to evaluate performance, measure initiatives, and identify improvement opportunities that support scalable growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze Development performance, strategic initiatives, market planning, and operational results to detect trends, risks, and growth opportunities aligned with business goals.
• Translate multifaceted data including spatial and geographic analysis into clear, executive-level recommendations supporting real estate selection and strategic growth.
• Create and maintain executive summary reports highlighting Development performance, priorities, and actionable insights for leadership.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Development, Finance, Marketing, Operations, IT, and New Restaurant Opening teams to support planning, evaluation, and data-driven decisions.
• Lead analytical projects from concept through implementation by managing stakeholders, defining requirements, and delivering effective business solutions.
• Address business inquiries and identify repetitive needs to develop scalable reporting tools, frameworks, and performance measurement systems.
• Continuously enhance dashboards, analytical tools, and reporting capabilities that provide insight into Development operations and market opportunities.
• Ensure all analytics and recommendations are supported by accurate data and standardized methodologies.
• Maintain deep knowledge of Development systems, data flows, and spatial datasets, collaborating with IT and data teams for enhancement and innovation.
• Support restaurant development programs, remodels, operational rollouts, and real estate site selection through analysis, performance tracking, and project leadership.
• Document business processes, reporting standards, analytical methods, and key metrics to uphold consistency and governance.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in business analytics, strategy, intelligence, performance measurement, data management, or a similar analytical field.
• Demonstrated capability to use data analytics to reveal trends, uncover opportunities, and influence business decisions.
• Excellent skills in communicating complex analysis into compelling stories and actionable recommendations for executives.
• Proven ability to build trusted partnerships across departments to achieve strategic alignment.
• Experience in developing scalable reporting and analytical tools supporting enterprise objectives.
• Strong project management aptitude with a record of successfully leading complex analytical initiatives.
• Knowledge of system functionalities, data processes, and collaboration with IT for ongoing improvements.

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated salary for this position ranges from $87,000 to $120,000 annually, with eligibility for performance-based bonuses and equity awards. Our competitive total rewards package also includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401k, paid sick leave, vacation, and more.
