Role Overview
As the inaugural Senior Talent Program Manager at Vuori, reporting to the Sr. Director of Learning & Development, you will architect and expand the company’s Talent Practices. Your role will be integral in helping leaders and People & Culture Business Partners across the organization assess, develop, and plan talent effectively. You will craft user-friendly talent assessments and succession planning tools while revamping existing systems to ensure a robust talent pipeline aligned with Vuori’s ambitious growth objectives. Acting as a trusted collaborator with People & Culture leaders, you will translate business priorities and workforce insights into clear talent strategies and scalable initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic design and operation of core talent processes including talent reviews, assessments, succession planning, engagement surveys, and performance cycles, aligning them with business priorities and company philosophies.
- Manage talent programs rigorously by developing comprehensive project plans, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring consistent and streamlined experiences for leaders and employees.
- Partner with People & Culture Business Partners and senior leaders to refine talent assessment and review processes that maintain simplicity and generate meaningful talent insights.
- Coordinate performance review cycles across headquarters and retail teams collaboratively with Total Rewards, People & Culture Business Partners, and Learning & Development, embedding leadership philosophies and competencies into these processes.
- Lead the strategy and execution of employee engagement surveys, working closely with partners and vendors to boost participation and translate feedback into actionable plans.
- Develop and disseminate leader-focused resources such as toolkits and guides to enhance talent conversations and reinforce leadership competencies.
- Facilitate targeted sessions for managers and leaders, both virtually and in-person, to enhance their capability and confidence in talent management practices.
- Implement continuous program evaluation through feedback analysis and simplify tools to deliver honest, transparent talent assessments supporting development.
Qualifications
- Over 8 years of advanced experience in Talent Management, HR Program Management, People Operations, Organizational Development, or Learning & Development, with ownership of enterprise-wide talent initiatives.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and scaling straightforward and effective talent systems and leader experiences linked to business strategy.
- Strong leadership and influence abilities, capable of forging robust partnerships, aligning diverse stakeholders, and driving decisions at senior levels.
- Proficient program manager who structures work effectively, anticipates risks, and manages high-impact cycles independently.
- Skilled facilitator and coach adept at leading equitable, actionable talent calibration discussions with leaders.
- Analytical and systems-savvy, using qualitative and quantitative data to root out issues, prioritize changes, measure impacts, and utilize AI tools for process improvements.
- Innovative mindset with strong change management skills, able to pilot and scale initiatives within a rapidly growing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
