Key Responsibilities

• Conduct commissioning, routine maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on diesel engines, generators, turbochargers, and related equipment following approved guidelines and work cards.
• Perform Last Minute Risk Analysis (LMRA) before tasks, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and incident reporting.
• Plan and organize service tasks by identifying necessary spare parts, tools, technical documentation, and assembly procedures.
• Lead onsite technical activities by serving as a point of technical contact, mentoring technicians, and assisting with troubleshooting, performance evaluation, and root cause investigations.
• Assist MAN Energy Solutions customers and third parties with assembly, disassembly, and overhaul operations aligned with company standards.
• Gather technical data, compile service reports, analyze maintenance information, and suggest enhancements utilizing standard tools such as Microsoft Office.
• Ensure accurate time sheet management and maintain ongoing communication, continued training, and adherence to company maintenance and HSE policies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable qualification.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience, ideally in sectors like heavy machinery, marine, or power plants.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical documents, instructions, detailed sketches, and cross-sectional drawings.
• Understanding of HSE, environmental, quality, and safety standards.
• Willingness to travel globally for project assignments.
• Capability to prepare detailed technical reports with Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of engine subsystems, including accessories and auxiliaries such as separators, coolers, and filters.
