What you will do

• Take part in analyzing requirements and shaping the solution approach.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to design software architecture and system structure.
• Build enterprise identity cloud capabilities using modern engineering practices.
• Validate, release, and deploy applications and systems.
• Improve existing code by revising, refactoring, fixing defects, and debugging.
• Contribute both to greenfield development and to the support of live services.
• Create and maintain technical documentation throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Act as a subject matter resource for applications and provide technical assistance when needed.
• Work in line with agile principles and team practices.

What you should bring

• At least 3 years of software engineering experience focused on Java.
• Strong practical experience with Java technologies, Spring Framework, microservices, and REST APIs.
• Hands-on exposure to AWS, Azure, and Kubernetes.
• Ability to design and deliver highly scalable systems.
• Experience growing into roles with increasing responsibility across application development, solution design, delivery, and process improvement.
• Experience in unit, functional, and system integration testing.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering; a master’s degree in IT is preferred.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with teams across the organization.
• Comfort working in a fast-changing environment and delivering across functional boundaries.
• Security experience is an advantage, though not required.
• Exposure to Groovy on Grails, ElasticSearch, and Redis is a plus.
• At least 1 year of experience using AI tools and AI-assisted SDLC practices.

Additional requirements

The company is looking for someone enterprising, quick to learn, and focused on delivering results.

If this role requires it, you will need to complete security and privacy literacy training during onboarding and once every year after that. You will also be expected to review, understand, and follow applicable information security and privacy policies and procedures, including data classification, retention and handling, incident response, business continuity and disaster recovery, mobile device use, account management, access control, personnel security, and privacy requirements.
