Overview
This critical position serves as the main support for an active and innovative on-air radio team based in Darwin. The role involves diverse daily responsibilities including staff roster management, preparing contributor agreements and staff engagements, assembling reports and briefings, distributing updates, and providing ad hoc training. Additionally, the coordinator assists with bookings and budgeting for various content projects, live broadcasts, and events.
Financial duties encompass monitoring budgets, tracking performance, conducting forecasting, and managing monthly journals and accruals.
The role initially begins as part-time (18 hours weekly) from July to December 2026, then transitions to mandatory full-time employment starting January 2027.
Requirements
- Strong communication abilities and excellent teamwork skills.
- Effective relationship-building within a mixed remote and onsite team.
- Solid organizational aptitude with capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Experience in administrative and financial support roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Background in rostering or logistics management.
- Familiarity with payroll systems and SAP Finance is advantageous.
- Quick learner and adaptable to evolving work environments.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary ranging from $91,000 to $98,000 per annum on a pro rata basis.
