HR Psychologist Internship

About the internship

This part-time, work-from-home internship is with Safalta Setu, a non-profit initiative focused on helping Army Brats (children of Armed Forces personnel) access meaningful industry opportunities. The program is designed to create a bridge between military youth and professional growth through mentorship, career guidance, and access to networks. The organization is supported by IIT alumni and aims to build a long-term ecosystem that connects capable talent with opportunity.

What you'll do

• Support behavioral screening and evaluate candidates using competency-based frameworks and cultural fit criteria.
• Help create and run employee engagement surveys, feedback forms, and wellbeing-related activities.
• Hold one-on-one sessions with interns to understand motivation, challenges, and overall experience.
• Review engagement patterns and suggest ways to improve satisfaction and retention.
• Assist with onboarding work and contribute to a smooth candidate and intern journey.
• Take part in conflict resolution by using active listening and structured communication methods.
• Contribute to workplace wellness, team bonding, and psychological safety initiatives.
• Maintain employee records, engagement data, and HR documentation.
• Assist with HR research on motivation, productivity, learning, and workplace behavior.
• Work alongside the HR team to improve organizational culture and employee experience.

Who can apply

This opportunity is open to candidates who can work from home, start between 4 July 2026 and 8 August 2026, and commit to a 4-month internship. Applicants should have relevant skills and interest in the field. Women looking to begin or restart their careers are also encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• Pursuing or already completed a degree in Psychology, Industrial Psychology, Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
• Understanding of employee behavior, motivation, and workplace dynamics.
• Strong empathy, communication ability, and people-management skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
• Genuine interest in people development and employee well-being.

Additional information
