About the internship
This remote, part-time internship is for a WordPress-focused candidate who will support page creation, content uploads, layout updates, and website upkeep for an ed-tech brand. The role involves working on study-related pages, blogs, landing pages, and course content while helping keep the website fast, responsive, secure, and user-friendly.
What you will do
- Create, refresh, and manage pages on the WordPress site.
- Publish blogs, learning materials, campaign landing pages, and other course content.
- Build and adjust themes and layouts using tools such as Elementor or Gutenberg.
- Make sure pages display properly on desktop, tablet, and mobile screens.
- Improve page speed, basic SEO, and overall site performance.
- Install, set up, and maintain WordPress plugins.
- Find and fix bugs, broken links, and layout problems.
- Work with marketing and design teams on landing pages for campaigns.
- Support website security, backups, and routine updates.
- Help improve conversion rates and the overall user experience.
Who can apply
Applicants must be available to work from home, able to begin between 8 Jul 2026 and 12 Aug 2026, and able to commit for 3 months. Candidates should have relevant skills and genuine interest in the role. Women looking to begin or restart their careers are welcome to apply. Computer Science Engineering students are also eligible.
Stipend
The internship offers a monthly stipend of INR 5,000 to 7,000.
Other requirements
- You need access to a personal laptop for internship work.
- You should understand WordPress CMS at a basic level.
- Familiarity with Elementor, Gutenberg, or similar page builders is expected.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive web design is needed.
- You should know the fundamentals of website speed improvement and SEO.
- You must be able to troubleshoot common website issues on your own.
- Attention to detail is important.
- Good communication and a willingness to learn are required.
