Accountant

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in Riyadh. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various financial tasks such as recording petty cash transactions, preparing bank transfers, reconciling cash and delivery app issues, and creating sales invoices. Additionally, they will handle fixed monthly financial commitments and maintain comprehensive and accurate financial records including ledgers, journals, invoices, receipts, and inventory-related data.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and monitor petty cash expenses meticulously.
• Prepare and process transfers to company bank accounts.
• Reconcile financial discrepancies related to cash and delivery applications.
• Generate sales invoices and ensure proper documentation.
• Manage and track fixed monthly financial obligations.
• Maintain detailed financial records including inventories and supplies.
• Support the accounting department with daily, monthly, and yearly duties such as financial report generation, tax preparation, audit assistance, and resolving any differences.
• Communicate with vendors and suppliers to verify bills and expedite timely payments.
• Engage with clients to clarify account statuses, address charges, and resolve any discrepancies.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum of one year relevant experience in accounting or related fields.
• Fluent written English proficiency.
• Experience working with accounting software, preferably Odoo.
• Competent with Google Drive applications.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with vendors and clients.
• Ability to analyze accounting processes thoroughly.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• A keen interest in coffee and passion for the food and beverage industry.
