Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the daily operations of the Accounting Department while adhering to established Accounting and Audit standards. This role oversees activities across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, and General Ledger functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily accounting tasks ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
- Authorize and manage invoice preparation and submission processes to clients ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with Internal Auditors by providing required documentation within deadlines.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries related to receivables and take necessary corrective action.
- Validate accounts payable transactions and record them properly in the accounting system.
- Review agency agreements to confirm invoice payments align with contractual terms.
- Ensure vendor payments are accurate and supported by necessary documentation.
- Manage all government-related tax payments including VAT and Withholding Tax.
- Ensure adherence to management-approved authority matrices for all payments.
- Approve employee and business advance requests and ensure timely reconciliation.
- Post all accounting transactions accurately in the system including accruals and General Ledger entries.
- Conduct timely monthly and year-end account closings within deadlines.
- Analyze trial balances, reconcile with budgets, and record necessary journal entries.
- Support the annual audit process by supplying required information to external auditors.
- Review monthly financial closings to ensure accurate entries.
- Assess and improve internal control systems and implement recommendations to address deficiencies.
- Prepare and regularly review costing for client proposals and contracts for both B2B and B2C segments.
- Understand pricing and contract terms deeply to review contracts effectively.
- Guide accounting personnel across treasury, payables, receivables, fixed assets, and ledger activities.
- Perform additional finance-related duties as assigned by the Finance Director.
Additional Information
This role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires onsite presence. The position entails managing multiple complex accounting functions with accountability for compliance and financial integrity.
