Agentic AI Engineer

About the Role

Orcapod Consulting Services is searching for an experienced Agentic AI Engineer to join their team on a contract basis in Pune. This role focuses on designing, developing, and deploying autonomous AI systems capable of sophisticated reasoning, planning, decision-making, and executing intricate business workflows. The incumbent will work with Large Language Models (LLMs), orchestration frameworks, and cloud-native architectures to automate diverse business processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Create AI agents that autonomously manage various tasks across organizational processes.
• Develop multi-agent frameworks incorporating planning, memory, reasoning, and tool-utilization features.
• Integrate major LLMs like GPT, Claude, Gemini, and Llama with enterprise software and APIs.
• Implement orchestration frameworks including LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel, and LangChain.
• Build Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions utilizing vector databases.
• Establish monitoring, evaluation, and governance protocols for AI agents.
• Enhance prompts, operational workflows, and model performance to ensure reliability and scalability.
• Collaborate with internal business teams to identify automation opportunities.
• Maintain security, compliance, and ethical AI practices in live environments.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Proficient in Python programming.
• Hands-on experience with Large Language Models, Generative AI, and Agentic AI frameworks.
• Knowledgeable about RAG, embeddings, and vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, and Azure AI Search.
• Experienced in API integrations, microservices architecture, and cloud environments including Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Familiar with prompt engineering, AI model evaluation, and fine-tuning techniques.
• Competent with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and MLOps methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
