AI Engineer (Full Stack) - TypeScript / Nuxt / Next / Vue / React

About the Role

Join Laioutr, a pioneering Agentic Frontend Management Platform enabling merchants worldwide to deploy top-tier storefronts swiftly. This position goes beyond typical development; you will leverage AI to accelerate building software at speeds unattainable for an individual alone. Your expertise in TypeScript will be fundamental as you contribute directly to a product impacting real customers daily. We're seeking a proactive builder who thinks like an owner, not just a coder.

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end features across the platform, from backend data layers to storefront UI, utilizing AI as a key enhancer to increase speed without compromising quality.
• Develop and sustain third-party integration components within the platform.
• Consolidate various APIs (GraphQL, REST) into a single frontend-optimized interface.
• Create and maintain Nuxt modules and internal npm packages within a monorepo setup, managing the associated build tools and publishing processes.
• Enhance the Next.js application using tRPC and Supabase technologies.
• Build and connect frontend components using Vue and React frameworks to dynamic data sources.
• Collaborate with the team to define and shape system architecture, ensuring scalability and performance for the future.
• Embed AI into everyday engineering practices by crafting precise prompts, critically reviewing outputs, and continuously improving the development workflow enabled by AI.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Passionate about TypeScript, with deep knowledge of advanced generic types and a preference for designing clear TypeScript APIs and type systems.
• Experience using AI tools as productivity multipliers, with a focus on deploying them for production-quality results, not just prototypes.
• Strong background in building Nuxt APIs and integrating them with frontend apps, including state management with Pinia.
• Proficient in Vue.js and comfortable working with React.
• Expertise in consuming, designing, and unifying APIs (GraphQL and REST) seamlessly.
• Experience developing custom Nuxt modules is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with build tooling, semantic versioning, and npm package publishing.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD workflows and Vite; familiarity with Turborepo is a plus.
• Completed formal IT education or equivalent hands-on experience in TypeScript and JavaScript development.
• Additional advantage: experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopware or Shopify.
• Fluent communication skills in German or English, both written and verbal.
