Job Overview
We are seeking a Purchase professional with extensive knowledge in strategic sourcing, indirect procurement, vendor development, CAPEX/OPEX purchasing, MRO procurement, RFQ processes, contract negotiation, SAP MM, cost optimization, and supplier management. The position is embedded in the manufacturing industry environment.
Responsibilities
The selected candidate will manage and optimize sourcing strategies encompassing indirect procurement and capital expenditures. Key tasks include vendor development and management, overseeing maintenance, repair, and operations procurement, negotiating contracts, executing requests for quotations, and leveraging SAP MM for efficient procurement workflows.
Requirements
The ideal applicant must hold a B.E. or B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering. Significant experience is expected in strategic sourcing, indirect procurement, CAPEX/OPEX processes, MRO purchasing, SAP MM system utilization, vendor development, contract negotiations, and overall supply chain management within manufacturing sectors.
