Position Overview
This contract opportunity invites a skilled Biologist to lead and execute cutting-edge CRISPR gene editing projects remotely. The role requires dedication ranging from 10 to 40 hours per week and offers competitive hourly compensation between $70 and $90.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, refine, and implement CRISPR-based gene editing experiments to achieve precise genetic modifications.
- Create and apply cloning tactics for developing innovative DNA constructs and new cell lines.
- Conduct genotyping, PCR assays, and sequence analysis to confirm desired genetic changes.
- Design synthetic DNA and RNA strands, contributing to the logic of high-throughput screening workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to convert experimental findings into structured data sets for artificial intelligence model training.
- Use molecular biology methods to investigate and characterize molecules, organelles, and cellular frameworks.
- Maintain thoroughly detailed experimental records ensuring reproducibility and facilitating knowledge sharing.
Candidate Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in CRISPR technologies and gene editing experimental design.
