Cashier

Role Overview

We seek a proactive and personable Cashier to be the welcoming face of Rusty’s Bar-B-Q. The role involves managing guest interactions smoothly, processing orders accurately, and ensuring an excellent customer experience through suggestive selling and clear communication. This position may also involve preparing desserts and supporting catering tasks while maintaining cleanliness in guest areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently process guests' orders both in-person and over the phone.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the dining area, restrooms, and counters during shifts.
• Prepare desserts consistently to meet guest demand for dine-in and catering orders.
• Restock supplies within dining areas, to-go station, and dessert coolers.
• Assist in assembling catering supplies for upcoming orders when required.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Strong familiarity with point-of-sale systems used at Rusty’s.
• Ability to reproduce desserts with consistent quality.
• Good knowledge of Rusty’s menu items.
• Capable team player with excellent communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs overhead and stand for prolonged periods (4+ hours).
• Employ suggestive selling techniques to enhance sales.

Additional Information

This position is based onsite at our Leeds location and is open for full-time or part-time employment. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United Kingdom.
