Custodial Services Worker

Responsibilities

• Follow established safety protocols compliant with OSHA, local, state, federal, and company regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
• Keep assigned areas clean and orderly to promote health and safety for all occupants.
• Maintain and clean custodial equipment accurately and responsibly.
• Perform cleaning duties according to both company and client standards.
• Properly handle and dispose of waste by transporting trash to designated areas following required procedures.
• Report any maintenance issues using the appropriate work order systems promptly.
• Secure the facility by locking and unlocking buildings as needed and safeguard company property.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred but not mandatory.
• Capable of adhering to safety protocols, including handling exposure to hazardous chemicals.
• Exhibit a friendly, positive, and efficient attitude when interacting with guests, clients, and colleagues.
• Adaptable to meet guests’ varying needs.

Physical Requirements

This role involves physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing. Use of uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE) will be required to ensure safety.
