Custodian

Position Overview

Amentum is seeking a dedicated full-time Custodian for its Alice Springs location, Northern Territory. This role is ideal for individuals who value a nurturing and community-centric workplace while maintaining a balanced lifestyle.

Role Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping duties for temporary quarters (TQs) and various operational and technical buildings across the site.
• Manage laundry services specifically for staff and business traveler quarters.
• Maintain floor cleanliness through polishing and carpet steam cleaning.
• Oversee inventory and ensure timely availability of necessary cleaning supplies.
• Handle rubbish disposal and dusting tasks consistently.
• Foster a safe work environment while upholding excellent customer service standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possession of relevant certifications such as Health Support, Hospitality, CPR, White Card, and Working at Heights.
• Between three to five years of experience in hospitality or industrial custodial roles.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Applicants need to be 18 years or older, fluent in English, and an Australian or United States citizen.
• Security clearance is mandatory: only applicants with an active TS/SCI clearance inclusive of Polygraph will be considered. Additionally, US citizenship is required to meet clearance standards.
• Successful candidates must pass various pre-employment verifications including referee checks, criminal history screening, medical assessments, and drug and alcohol testing.
