Data Analysis Intern

About the Role

We are looking for a driven individual to assist the In Resort Sales Director in analyzing data from profit centers across ESAP resorts. This position offers practical experience in handling sales data, focusing on local revenue priorities in the hospitality sector and understanding sales strategies that influence revenue growth and objectives directly.

Duration: 6 months or longer

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct monthly analyses of profit center performance.
• Collect and organize data related to all profit centers within ESAP resorts.
• Collaborate with resort stakeholders including Finance and Sales Managers to acquire relevant data and information.
• Prepare monthly reports detailing profit center outcomes and overall income.
• Assist with the monthly incentive program calculations, coordinating with Regional Business Control and resort finance managers.
• Gather data on best-selling items for each profit center at all ESAP resorts monthly.
• Support communication with key stakeholders regarding incentive payments.
• Maintain and update the APAC Advantages & Discount records in coordination with various departments.
• Help establish benchmarks for spa, boutique, excursion, and other services.
• Assist resort sales teams with presentation and seminar preparations.
• Support updates to the bi-annual shop catalog and new product releases.
• Contribute to additional projects related to resort profit centers based on business unit priorities.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related areas.
• Basic knowledge of budgeting and data management concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Capability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
