Work Schedule
The schedule operates on a four-day workweek: either Wednesday to Saturday or Sunday to Wednesday with a start time of 5:00 AM.
Role Summary
The Data Analyst plays a critical role in supporting warehouse operations by converting operational data into actionable insights aimed at boosting productivity, quality, workforce efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This position collaborates directly with operations leadership to discern patterns, build reports, and facilitate data-driven decisions within a dynamic distribution environment. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical capabilities, the ability to clearly convey insights to business leaders, and proficiency in creating scalable reporting tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine operational performance data to uncover trends, opportunities, and identify underlying issues.
- Create, update, and manage dashboards, scorecards, and systematic reporting using business intelligence applications.
- Track essential operational metrics such as productivity, quality, throughput, inventory accuracy, labor usage, and service delivery.
- Team with operations managers to inform labor forecasting, staffing levels, and capacity planning.
- Perform specialized analyses to support new business initiatives and enhance operational practices.
- Simplify complex data sets into understandable conclusions and strategic advice for frontline and upper management.
- Ensure the integrity and consistency of data by investigating discrepancies across different systems.
- Develop automation for recurring reports to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual workload.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts through statistical evaluation and performance tracking.
- Communicate findings and make recommendations clearly to multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications and Skills
- Between one and three years of relevant experience in data analytics, business intelligence, supply chain, manufacturing, or distribution operations.
- Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, Power Pivot, and complex formulas.
- Proficient in writing SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
- Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or other comparable business intelligence platforms.
- Strong analytical thinking and effective problem-solving skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
- Capability to manage various priorities in a fast-moving operational environment.
