Role Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D models of main and miscellaneous steel components in Tekla Structures.
• Interpret and analyze structural and architectural plans, specifications, and contract documents accurately.
• Model various structural elements such as beams, columns, bracing, stairs, handrails, ladders, and embedded parts.
• Incorporate connections, fasteners, welds, and detailing adhering strictly to AISC and US fabrication guidelines.
• Generate clear and precise assembly and erection drawings extracted directly from the models.
• Collaborate with checkers, engineers, and fabricators to efficiently address RFIs, design revisions, and conflicts.
• Identify clashes, potential constructability issues, and gaps in information proactively during modeling.
• Maintain the integrity of models, ensure bill of materials accuracy, and prepare CNC files with revision control throughout submittals.
• Lead project teams handling structural and miscellaneous steel detailing tasks.
• Monitor compliance with AISC, OSHA, and other project-specific requirements.
• Review contract drawings, requests for information, addenda, and design changes critically.
• Define and implement detailing standards, modeling methodologies, and quality assurance/control procedures.
• Act as the key liaison for clients, overseeing RFIs, BFA returns, and submittal processes.
• Organize project meetings, produce progress reports, and manage schedules effectively.
• Delegate assignments, track team productivity, and allocate resources judiciously.
• Guide and mentor junior and mid-level detailers while maintaining strict quality control and internal review mechanisms.
• Strive to minimize rework and expedite approval cycles through proactive coordination and communication.
• Exhibit strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and multi-project management capabilities, with expert knowledge of Tekla Structures.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must possess a B.Tech or B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering disciplines.
