About the Role
We are seeking a commercially-driven Digital Marketing & E-commerce Manager to independently manage and expand the digital presence of a leading Australian e-commerce skincare group based in North Sydney. This key position reports to the Acting Head of Brand & Marketing and involves full ownership of the brand’s digital ecosystem without team leadership responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive growth and optimize performance of the company’s skincare online marketplace by increasing traffic, conversions, average order value (AOV), and repeat purchases.
- Develop and execute SEO strategies to enhance website performance and ensure all brand sites are optimized for conversions.
- Manage the digital marketing budget and strategy across paid social, search, programmatic advertising, and affiliate channels, targeting strong ROI outcomes.
- Lead digital promotional initiatives including events like Afterpay Day, exclusive online offers, and product bundles, alongside corresponding creative campaigns.
- Oversee CRM strategies and lifecycle marketing programs such as welcome series, replenishment, cross-sell, win-back sequences, and manage the digital loyalty program to grow the customer database and engagement.
- Maintain digital operations focusing on KPIs such as website traffic, conversion rates, customer acquisition cost (CAC), return on ad spend (ROAS), repeat purchase rate, and customer lifetime value (LTV), while administering the Shopify platform.
- Manage the B2B portal regarding pricing accuracy, user access, order processing, and improving user experience.
- Conduct monthly competitor reviews to keep abreast of market trends, product launches, and digital innovations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Brand, Clinics, Customer Service teams, and external agencies.
Candidate Profile
- Proven e-commerce management experience, preferably on Shopify, with a strong record of improving digital revenue and platform metrics.
- Extensive expertise in paid digital marketing channels with demonstrated ability to deliver clear ROI.
- Experience in managing promotional calendars, digital creative production, and competitor market analysis.
- Competence in CRM, lifecycle marketing, and loyalty program execution.
- Strong commercial understanding and ability to manage key performance indicators across varied stakeholders.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Commerce, Business, or related fields.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in beauty, fashion, or retail industries is highly advantageous.
- Hands-on experience with Klaviyo for email marketing automation, segmentation, and lifecycle journeys.
- Knowledge of dashboarding and reporting using Looker Studio.
