Job Overview
Terra Geo Surveys Private Limited is seeking an experienced Drone/UAV Pilot to operate quadcopter drones for aerial surveys and related tasks. The position requires a minimum graduate degree and proficiency in English communication. Candidates must hold a DGCA certification and a valid passport. The role involves flexibility to work across locations within India and internationally.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate quadcopter drones to conduct aerial surveys and similar applications.
- Support drone research and development activities and perform client demonstrations.
- Prepare detailed flight plans to ensure mission success.
- Conduct thorough preflight and post-flight safety inspections.
- Maintain accurate documentation of flight logs.
- Evaluate and ensure the quality of data collected during flights.
- Manage field work including setup of Ground Control Points (GCP).
- Carry out routine maintenance and upkeep of drone equipment.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum graduate degree with good English communication skills.
- DGCA certified pilot with a valid passport.
- At least 2 years of professional experience operating drones in the agriculture and mining sectors.
Compensation
