Role Overview
Based in the South Yarra office in Melbourne, the eCommerce Specialist will oversee and enhance the commercial success of Wittner's owned digital platform, specifically its Shopify website. This position demands a data-driven approach to identify growth opportunities, enhance user experience, and boost revenue. The specialist analyses performance KPIs, resolves friction points, and implements strategies to optimize conversion rates, average order value (AOV), customer acquisition, and overall digital channel effectiveness, ensuring a consistent high-quality brand image.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to promote growth and attract new customers.
- Prepare weekly trading reports delivering clear insights for improving critical KPIs such as conversion rate, AOV, and revenue.
- Analyze performance data to detect trends, risks, and opportunities across all brand lines.
- Work in partnership with the Head of Marketing & eCommerce to enhance user experience, conversion rate optimization (CRO), AOV, and revenue metrics.
- Oversee website copywriting, maintaining consistent brand tone across all brands.
- Design, test, and deploy promotions, discount codes, and various trading offers.
- Manage scheduling, quality assurance, and implementation of all website updates, including banners, campaigns, and theme adjustments.
- Lead the use and optimization of personalization tools like Searchspring, serving as the primary liaison with external partners.
- Conduct competitor and market analyses to uncover product, content, and UX improvement opportunities.
- Keep abreast of the latest eCommerce trends, tools, and platform updates to recommend enhancements.
Candidate Profile
- Degree in Marketing, eCommerce, or a related discipline.
- Minimum two years of retail eCommerce experience with proven accomplishments in enhancing website performance and conversion rates.
- Strong proficiency in Shopify platform management accompanied by analytical skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail with excellent copywriting capabilities, preferably in fashion or retail.
- Proactive, balancing creative thinking with commercial objectives.
