Role Overview

As an Engineering Support Operative at our Asda Distribution Centre in Warrington, Otago, New Zealand, you will support routine maintenance tasks to ensure high equipment availability, safety compliance, and quality performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform operational and functionality checks including cleaning, adjustments, lubrication, and monitoring equipment status.
• Diagnose root causes of faults and implement permanent solutions.
• Assist with planned preventive, corrective, and reactive maintenance as needed.
• Demonstrate proficiency in jam busting operational procedures.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities for utilization tracking.

• Exhibit a proactive attitude towards troubleshooting and demonstrate competency in operational and maintenance procedures.
• Collaborate effectively as a team member.
• Be willing to work shifts including night shifts and be flexible to work overtime when required.
