Overview
Wood is seeking a skilled ERM Administrator to assist the Lead ERM Administrator in managing the Materials Management System (MMS), specifically AVEVA ERM, overseeing its administration, configuration, and support throughout the materials lifecycle during project execution. This role serves as the key contact for MMS within the designated scope or location and collaborates with regional teams to ensure system consistency while maintaining regional accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot MMS product issues and escalate by logging them on the supplier’s support platform when necessary.
- Support testing of MMS upgrades, enhancements, and integrations.
- Conduct root cause analyses for systemic problems and assist in applying corrective measures.
- Assist in report and SQL view development as needed.
- Facilitate MMS implementation and manage the material lifecycle processes by coordinating with functions such as Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Construction to align with client and project requirements and ensure compliance.
- Configure new contracts and projects within MMS, including handling new interface requirements.
- Provide material management support or act as local material management focal point for specific contracts or projects when required.
- Contribute to MMS-related documentation, including administration procedures and user training materials.
- Deliver user training, respond to user queries, and coordinate system access as necessary.
- Offer insights for pursuits, execution strategies, and client engagement as needed.
- Promote a cooperative, service-focused environment aimed at delivery excellence.
- Enforce product-specific standards, configuration rules, and lifecycle controls.
- Help ensure compliance with internal policies, contracts, and information management standards.
- Assist in documenting deployment configurations, known limitations, and approved deviations.
- Escalate any strategic, commercial, or systemic risks to the Product Owner.
Qualifications and Experience
- Professional background in materials management lifecycle within EPC companies.
- At least 5 years experience controlling project material requirements for engineering, procurement, and construction in Oil & Gas facilities.
- Expertise in AVEVA ERM administration and support.
Technical Knowledge and Skills
- Comprehensive understanding of all material management phases: Material Take-offs, Requisitioning, Tendering, Purchasing, Expediting, Inspection, Allocation, Shipping, and Surplus Management.
- Detailed knowledge of project materials in compliance with local/international codes and client-specific standards.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
- Advanced computer skills, ideally including LUA programming and proficient Excel skills.
- Experience writing SQL queries to assist report generation in MMS.
- Basic knowledge of Oracle databases is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of data inputs and outputs related to materials management, including integration with 3D CAD and ERP systems.
- Awareness of the linkage between Pipe Classes, commodity codes, part numbers, 3D CAD, and plant design for material delivery.
