Flight Dispatch Trainee

Role Purpose

This role is designed to provide structured, hands-on training in flight dispatch operations under the mentorship of experienced personnel. It focuses on developing practical skills and operational insights essential for ensuring safe and effective flight dispatch activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in organized on-the-job training programs supervised by seasoned flight dispatch staff.
• Collaborate with Meteorological and Air Traffic Services (ATS) offices to facilitate dispatch tasks and ensure timely sharing of operational details.
• Collect, verify, and supply necessary operational information sourced from web platforms, internal teams, and operational reports to assist dispatchers.
• Join orientation sessions with other Network Control Centre functions to gain a broad understanding of interdepartmental processes and NCC operations.
• Provide both administrative and operational assistance to the Network Control Centre team based on workload demands.
• Contribute to dispatch-related projects by executing delegated tasks under guidance, enhancing operational effectiveness and personal growth.
• Perform additional flight dispatch duties as assigned to build foundational knowledge and skills in dispatch operations.
• Comply with company policies, safety protocols, and established operational procedures throughout training and daily activities.

Qualification Requirements

• Minimum educational attainment of High School Diploma.
• Proficient in English language communication.
• Relevant experience ranging from none up to 2 years, applicable also to those lacking formal qualifications.

Information Security Requirements

Adhere strictly to company Information Security policies by reporting any vulnerabilities or incidents to supervisors or the Information Security team. Complete all mandatory Information Security training sessions and incorporate security protocols into daily work routines.
