Position Overview
This role is for a General Manager at a McDonald's restaurant operated by an independent franchisee, a separate entity from McDonald's USA. The franchisee independently manages all employment-related activities, including hiring, staff supervision, and scheduling. McDonald's USA is not involved in recruitment or employment decisions for this position.
About the Role
The General Manager leads a profitable operation ensuring the restaurant consistently meets McDonald's high standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. This is a key leadership role involving setting restaurant goals in collaboration with higher management and developing actionable plans to reach them.
The General Manager oversees Department Managers, assisting them in goal-setting, monitoring progress, and offering coaching to enhance their departments' performance, which directly impacts overall restaurant success. Responsibilities may also extend to recruiting and mentoring Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership pipeline.
Candidate Profile
Ideal applicants bring prior General Manager experience in managing high-volume restaurant locations, preferably within quick service, hospitality, or retail sectors. Candidates must be at least 18 years old to assume a managerial role.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary between $50,000 and $65,000
- Two weeks of paid vacation annually
