Role Overview

We are seeking our inaugural growth operator to spearhead customer acquisition, partnership development, and revenue generation for Matilda. This position serves as a market-facing role responsible for identifying institutions where Matilda can successfully gain traction, cultivating relationships with key decision-makers, and managing deals through all stages—from initial dialogue to contract signing, procurement, security assessments, legal approvals, pilot launches, and ultimately, referenceable deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage commercial deployments from initial pursuit through to signed agreements.
• Communicate complex technical work effectively by crafting strategic narratives.
• Leverage early pilot deployments into reference cases, subsequently generating new business opportunities.
• Gather market and customer feedback to inform product development and strategic direction.
• Design and implement your own growth systems using AI-powered tools.

Candidate Profile

• A hands-on operator adept at closing deals, creating tracking systems, and authoring compelling sales materials.
• Fluent in AI technology and able to engage directly with researchers to translate advanced concepts into clear narratives.
• Proven experience managing institutional deals, with a thorough understanding of deal wins and losses.
• Technical proficiency in building personalized workflows and tools utilizing AI technologies.
• Exhibits low ego, strong initiative, and ease managing ambiguity.
