Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Generalist for a full-time, on-site position in Bengaluru. This role requires an experienced professional responsible for managing all facets of HR operations including compliance, recruitment, employee engagement, and organizational development to support a dynamic media, research, and events environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain thorough HR documentation, employee records, and ensure compliance with Indian labor laws, audits, and payroll accuracy.
- Administer HR policies uniformly and oversee attendance and leave systems effectively.
- Handle end-to-end recruitment processes including sourcing candidates, structured interviews, salary negotiations, and developing annual hiring plans.
- Design and execute a comprehensive onboarding program with defined role expectations and integration plans.
- Implement performance management frameworks in collaboration with department heads, including KPIs and regular reviews.
- Organize learning initiatives such as training needs assessments, internal workshops, leadership programs, and skill upskilling with monitoring of effectiveness.
- Promote a positive workplace culture through engagement events, feedback mechanisms, and early detection of workforce issues.
- Develop, update, and communicate HR policies, disciplinary guidelines, and ensure a safe workplace free from misconduct.
- Manage employee relations with discretion, including grievance handling, disciplinary proceedings, and conflict resolution.
- Partner with leadership providing HR analytics, contributing to organizational strategy, workforce planning, and talent development.
- Conduct exit interviews, facilitate smooth offboarding, and manage settlements and knowledge transfers.
Qualifications and Experience
- 2 to 8 years of progressive HR work experience.
- Strong knowledge of HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, and benefits administration.
- Proficiency in establishing and implementing HR policies effectively.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to operate both independently and collaboratively within teams.
- Academic credentials include MBA in HR, Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or related qualifications.
- Experience working in mid-sized companies and familiarity with Indian employment law is advantageous.
