About Bluesight
Bluesight builds technology that helps health systems, hospital pharmacies, and pharmaceutical manufacturers improve efficiency, patient safety, and operational visibility. The company serves more than 3,000 customers and combines the energy of a startup with the stability of a proven healthcare technology business.
Role Overview
Bluesight is looking for a driven project leader with hands-on experience managing SaaS implementation teams. This role is a player-coach position: you will both execute project work yourself and guide a team toward stronger performance, while also leading strategic initiatives for the implementation function. Success in this role requires strong relationship-building skills, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to think creatively when challenges arise.
What You Will Do
- Lead a group of implementation specialists through team meetings, weekly one-on-one coaching sessions, and escalation support.
- Own delivery for the team’s project portfolio, including large enterprise and strategic partner implementations, and track performance metrics for those efforts.
- Contribute directly to project execution as a hands-on teammate whenever operational support or extra project work is needed.
- Handle pod planning activities such as coverage coordination, request approvals, workload balancing, and team-building efforts.
- Set and reinforce high standards for work quality while modeling those standards in your own work.
- Partner with the Director of Implementation to design and roll out new approaches for improving implementation timelines, configuration, and training.
- Work with the Manager of Implementation on hiring, coaching, and continuous team development.
- Collaborate with product and other internal teams on company-wide initiatives while representing the implementation organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 7 years of professional experience; PMP certification, client-facing experience, or healthcare industry exposure are considered advantageous.
- At least 5 years managing new customer implementations for SaaS software, ideally in healthcare or health tech.
- At least 2 years leading direct reports or project teams of 3 to 5 people.
- Experience delivering medium- to long-term projects lasting 3 months or longer for customers of different sizes.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational habits.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, plus strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly, think critically, and work effectively in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
- A collaborative, positive attitude and a strong bias toward getting things done.
- Flexibility to schedule meetings across multiple time zones.
- Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time, roughly four trips per year.
Compensation and Benefits
The annual base pay range for this position is $100,000 to $115,000, depending on level, experience, performance, and location. The role also qualifies for an attractive benefits package.
- Competitive salary
- Unlimited vacation time
- Comprehensive insurance coverage
- 401(k) plan with company match
- Collaborative and enjoyable team culture
Location and Equal Opportunity
This is a fully remote role open to candidates in the continental United States.
Bluesight is an equal opportunity employer and considers all qualified applicants without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, sex, protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected characteristics.
