Role Overview

This full-time, on-site Information Technology Specialist position based in Dubai involves maintaining and supporting Eco Lex Legal's IT infrastructure. Responsibilities include management of servers, workstations, and networking devices to ensure consistent and reliable operations with minimal downtime. Daily activities encompass monitoring network performance, enforcing security measures, troubleshooting hardware and software problems, liaising with external service providers, and assisting staff with technical support. Additional duties involve managing user accounts and permissions, conducting regular data backups, and aiding in the deployment of new systems and applications that facilitate the firm’s legal and digital workflows.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong practical knowledge in IT systems management and office hardware/software administration.
• Experience in network administration, including router and switch configuration, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Competence in diagnosing and resolving technical issues across different operating systems and applications.
• Understanding and application of network security protocols, including firewalls, antivirus tools, access control, and data protection.
• Excellent customer service abilities to deliver clear and patient technical support to users with diverse levels of expertise.
• Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux operating environments, cloud-based services, and backup/recovery solutions.
• Preferred possession of industry certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or similar credentials.
• Formal education including a bachelor's degree or diploma in IT, computer science, or related fields, or comparable hands-on experience.
• Capacity to work onsite in Dubai, prioritize tasks efficiently, and uphold confidentiality and data security within a legal setting.
