REM Waste is a waste management firm based in the UK collaborating with over 750 suppliers nationwide. We are expanding our remote sales team and looking for inbound sales closers who will handle warm, pre-qualified leads exclusively—no cold calling or prospecting involved. The role is ideal for individuals who excel at managing high call volumes independently and are highly results-driven without needing close supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls from prospects ready to make a purchase decision.
• Quickly build rapport and lead prospects towards closing deals on the call.
• Effectively handle objections and secure consistent closures.
• Meet weekly and monthly sales targets proactively.
• Maintain precise and up-to-date pipeline and activity records in the CRM system.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in telesales, contact-center sales, or phone-based closing.
• Strong closing ability, not just call handling.
• Capable of working autonomously without direct floor supervision.
• Familiarity with sales metrics such as conversion rates and average call durations.
• Resilient mindset where rejection motivates rather than discourages you.

Unsuitable Candidates

• Those whose experience is limited to account management or renewals only.
• Individuals requiring daily supervision or frequent check-ins.
• Candidates who have not previously closed sales on the first call.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive base salary supplemented by unlimited commission on each completed sale.
• Complete on-target earnings (OTE) details provided during the initial interview.

Schedule and Work Logistics

• Full-time, five working days per week with shifts assigned Monday through Saturday from 08:00 to 17:00 BST.
• Employment as a freelance contractor under a UK contract.
• Work remotely from a quiet, suitable workspace at home.
• Monthly invoicing for base pay and commissions with payments processed to your bank account monthly.
• Required equipment includes a computer no older than two years with at least 8GB RAM to support call software, a headset with microphone, and dedicated fibre broadband internet.
• Proficiency in fluent, clear spoken English is essential; prior UK market phone experience preferred.
